This was a fun time for our whole family. Even though Travis was sick with walking pneumonia (whatever that is) we survived it. These exciting times were what happened at our house in less than 24 hours.
- We made yummy sugar cookies for Santa
- Then we played with papa's cool train
- Off to eat a Christmas dinner
- Then we read Twas The Night Before Christmas
- Made Reindeer food
- Were visited by the elves
- Decorated Santa's special cookies
- THEN WE HEARD THE BELLS!!!
After we heard Santa's bells the boys tossed and turned until they finally fell asleep, mom and dad on the other hand were asleep before our heads hit the pillow. Mom was up late since she did Christmas by herself this year. I was out running the dog around the block at 1am I actually thought I saw Santa that's how tired I was. Here we go it was eventful, fun, and exhausting. Take a look...
Cole was not meticulous about the way he opened his gifts. He ripped right through them.
Jake was Santa he delivered the gifts and he loved being able to read. "Because that's what 5 year old can do, ya know." He loves being 5 his whole world has changed.Luke was very, very meticulous about how his gifts were opened. If he got tape stuck to his fingers he had to get the tape off before continuing. And he would say, " Don't tell me what it is, Don't tell me what it is." Over and over until the gift was opened. He also told Jake a million times, "I don't need your Help. I can do it by myself."
- Jake's gifts were: roller skates, ninja turtle, piggy bank, transformer and Operation.
- Luke's gifts were: ninja turtle, speed racer car, and Cranium Caribou.
- Cole's gifts were: ninja turtle, Mickey Mouse Race track, ninja turtle and a match it puzzle game.
Here is our little hero's. We have 2 firefighters and a transformer.
On your mark, get set, GO!!!
The Elves watched the boys. Luke was always one the look out. They show up when the kids were least expecting it. And they took notes to tell Santa how good they were being. The Elf is magic. He's not fake. Jake wasn't sure about it at first but he is now.
Thank you mom and dad for being so awesome. We enjoy spending time with you. Even though we live so close, life gets too busy for everyone. So thank you for being wonderful we love you.
The kids woke up on Christmas morning around 9am they went to be at about 10:30. We packed our night full of festive activities. They were so excited to get up the next morning. Jake took the racing stance while we patiently waited to go and see if Santa had come. And he did. The boys had to wait while dad got everything ready. It seemed like forever for the boys. The boys were happy with the stockings. Santa could have stopped there.

Dad read, Twas The Night Before Christmas. This was a book my dad read to us every year before we went to bed. It is a classic. The boys enjoy being read to anytime. And I love reading to them.
Reindeer food. The boys made a treat for the reindeer and then took it outside so the reindeer could have a snack on their long journey to each house. They loved it because they ate it all up and even left the boys a sled.

We had a yummy family dinner. A family tradition of mine, cabobs. I don't know how I feel about them. Honestly they are not my favorite. We are going to have to try something new next year.
The kids were so excited they didn't eat very much at all. They loved the reindeer glasses. They love saying "cheers" and clinking their glasses together. Jake actually gave a toast. He told everyone that he loved them. "Everyone in the whole world."
