Jake turned 5

Thanks to everyone for the fun day. Jake is pumped to be 5. Now there are so many things that a 5 year old can do. Mom just gets sad to think how fast time is going.

They played in the pool for 2 hours straight. Wrestling and having fun.

His friends were excited to give them their gifts. But not as excited as Jake was to recieve them.

Look how excited and proud he is to be 5.




He was so excited. He had all of his friends come eat pizza and swim. It was a blast. Jake was exhausted when he got home.

Santa Claus is coming to the Robinette's

The Polar Express was the perfect outing for the kids. They had so much fun. They tell all their friends that they went on the Polar express to see Santa at the North Pole. We dressed up in our PJ's and off we went. It was great!!!

The Boys gave Santa their Christmas letters. It was so cute seeing them write them. Thier eyes were full of excitment as they handed the letters to Santa.

The kids and mom and dad are excited for Christmas. I can't believe that it is almost here. I am way excited to see the kids Christmas morning. This is what Christmas is all about. The boys are so excited to have Santa come to our house. The elves have been watching. They see you when your sleeping they know if your awake. Jake wasn't so sure about the Elve's at first but...now he tells everyone about them. Travis wanted to start a new tradition so this year we decorate the tree and then sleep by it. It was fun. Every year we have been adding new things to our list of Christmas traditions. I want the boys to be able to remember the sweet things about Christmas. Not the gifts but the family traditions centered around this beautiful time of year. I

Oh Christmas Tree! Oh Christmas Tree!

After Thanksgiving was over we decided to go get a Christmas tree. This is one of our most favorite family traditions. This year we were lucky to have Jason, Tricia, Alia and Jada come with us. We had a great time. The weather was a bit chilly. However, we found a beautiful tree that looks great in our front room. We still haven't decorated it. I love Christmas. I enjoy all of the fun and exciting family traditions and memories that go along with this beautiful and festive time of year. There is no place like home for the Holidays. I am thankful during this time of hard ship for many that we do have a home and food and a job to sustain us through this difficult time. I love the Lord and I thank him daily for my sweet little family and the love that we share. I have come to realize that they are my precious gifts from a loving Heavenly Father. I the love the Lord and I want me children to know that. I am thankful that I am able to share my memories with all of my loved ones. They are dear to my heart. So here is another entry. Getting the Chirstmas tree 2008. We had a wonderful time and the kids were excited to be apart of it.
