Davis Family Fun 2009

Here are some pics of the Davis Family get together. It was fun to see everyone. We are so thankful that Wes and Kim and their cute family made it down to see us. We sure do love it when they come to visit. Now it is our turn to go and see them. Thanks guys for making it. Ty, Tate, and Taylor are great kids and getting so big. Ty and Tate took care of all the younger cousins which, was super nice. Thanks. We hope to see you all again soon.
And thanks to T and Chels (especially Chels:) for opening up their home to us. It was very relaxing and calm, thank goodness:) We extended our stay with them and had lots of fun. The cousins could have kept playing for days. I think it is cool that they get to spend time together.
We sure do love the family time that we get to spend with everyone and I hope that we can make it something that we do more often. It was fun.
P.S. Kim thanks for the slide show. I would love to get a CD of the pics thanks so much and thanks again for coming the long distance to see us. Love ya

Where do I start?

I can't believe that summer is almost over. We have had fun with each other and have enjoyed being busy and being home. I have not felt well for along time. I have started to come around just this past week. I can't believe I am 4 months along, already!! Truly time goes be so fast when you are a busy mommy. We have had a wonderful summer...And it isn't over I just wanted to up date on what has been going on with our little family. We have loved our trips and T-ball, soccer and soccer events. Luke and Cole can't wait until next year when they can be in some sports. I can't believe they are old enough to be in sports. I love watching them grow up. Actually, I just lied, because I don't love watching them grow up I love the little stage, but I am proud of the little boys they are becoming. They are so sweet, most of the time, but even then I love watching them play and fight.
We started the summer with lots of rain. Which was nice but we were ready to BUST out of the house by the time the sun came out. Jake had soccer and golf and T-ball, which were all a blast to watch. Luke and Cole were cute fans that sat a watched his games with hopeful eyes that they too would be able to play soon. Next year they won't be old enough for T-ball that isn't going to go over well.

Travis and I had the chance to go to Washington D.C. we had a great time. Travis had to go for a training. My friend Bonnie talked me into going and I am so glad that she did. We had a great time with and without the guys. There is so much to do there...And we managed to see a good portion on feet and a little bit of subway.

Okay that was a fun trip and I was happy to be able to go. Thanks Bonnie for talking me into it and next time I will stay the whole time.

Then off to California. We had a great time. The trip to and the stay at the beach. We made a special trip to DisneyLand and the boys were able to become Jedi's..That was a highlight of our day. It was Luke and Cole's 4th birthday and they had an awesome day. Travis went to the store to buy the boys bright orange shirts, which mom was skeptical why....But that was the ticket to get up on stage you had to have something that set you apart from the other 100 kids standing there. I had sat there to save them a space and they were front row and when the master Jedi came out to start picking I was nervous that we were going to miss out on the opportunity. But after about 12 kids were picked he called out, "the 3 boys in the orange shirts." I was screaming, clapping and acting like a true idiot. I turned to Travis who was smiling big too and I said, "I think I am going to cry." Nerdy I know. Man it was cool though. DisneyLand was not busy at all. We rode every ride in the park minus 5. We ran right on Splash Mountain and Thunder Mountain. It was a perfect day. We walked around and went pee and pooh about a million times. The rides gave Luke gas. For those who know him know that he has a tender belly all the rides did the poor little dudes belly in. Travis was awesome though and did more that his fare share....Sorry honey the pregnancy nausea. We had a blast. We stayed at the beach for 5 days down in Newport the weather was awesome, not hot. The boys loved the water and the sand and I loved laying there watching them love it. Travis was in heaven reliving his childhood memories of when he and his family came down there. The boys were wore out by the end of the vacation, but a good wore out. We were able to stay at Gram and Papa's for a couple days before and after and 2 days in St. George made it for a good 2 week vacation. I had a blast.

Happy 4th Birthday to my sweet boys. They are wonderful. I am so happy to be their mommy. I love you two. Having twins has been an awesome experience.

The only thing missing was a little Wessy

Here you go Wes this entry is just for you. Sorry it has taken me so long to post it. Branding was fun. We enjoyed a little camp fire the night before. T and Chels started a new tradition of camping out before the big day. I don't know if that helped them feel more refreshed the next day or not. The Robinette's didn't we went home and slept. Next year we need to join in on the fun.
There was no drama this year; the freezer door was closed, no broken noses and everyone was even kill. Thank goodness. Here goes....

TLC Pre-school Graduates

We have 3 graduates! They are on their way. The boys were excited to graduate. We loved the preschool they attended and are thankful that we had the opportunity to go there. We made some great friends and learned a lot. I am proud of my three boys. They are good kids and they love life. They are happy and love each other (not always, but for the most part). The boys graduated Friday night. They put on the cutest performance. They did 3 cute finger plays and sang 4 really cute songs. One of our favorite songs is, of course, "All of God's Critters." The lyrics are so cute and the boys love it. Pastor Rob plays the guitar and the kids sing along. They think it is the best to play a guitar. The walk around imagining they are playing on one singing it is super cute. Especially Luke he is my musical little dude. He dances and sings and catches on to songs quickly. Here are some cute pics of the kids during their performance.

Our favorite walk.....

One of our most favorite things to do as a family is to take a walk down at the State Park. The boys love it. We get to see the buffalo and elk and the boys love to ride their bikes and play at the park.

Well, we have been NUTS around here. Things have been busy, busy. But good. Travis is coaching golf and that leaves me and the boys home together all day. I know Travis loves it, but mom and the boys miss daddy. But, summer is around the corner and I can't wait. I am sick of this crappy weather. The boys want to play outside soooo bad, but lately the wind has been relentless. There have been only a handful of really nice days. That is a typical spring in Wyoming. Since I was little I remember anticipating summer, after a long winter and a windy, rainy, windy, snowy, windy, spring. Needless to say I am anxiously waiting the warmth of summer. The first thing the boys say in the morning is, "Mom can we ride our bikes?" and "Mom can we play baseball?" and "Mom can we go to the park?" There is not enough summer to get all the things done on our agenda. The boys hate going to bed before the sun. They tell me,"It's not dark yet." And,"Mom I can still hear the birds. Why aren't they asleep?" I love their little sayings. I have to write them down because I forget them so easily.
Luke is my baseball nut. He loves watching it on TV. He is so excited for Jake to start playing. Hopefully we can take the boys to a game in California while we are down there. Luke is good. He hits the ball well and loves to play. Also Luke is obsessed with Star Wars. I wonder if it was coinscedence that is name fits the role perfectly. He has completed Jedi training at with McKay Francom (our neighbors and best friends) and talks about it non stop. Thanks McKay:)
Cole is just happy to be with his brothers. He loves to eat, watch Mickey Mouse and ride his bike. He is my rough and tumble boy. He has absolutly no fear. I swear he'll be the one to brake something. I hope not. He is to fast for his feet and is constantly hitting the ground going 100 miles an hour but hops right up and says,"I'm okay mom" (sometimes he needs to be loved). He loves preschool and keeps up with the big kids. He is outgoing and loves life. He is not picky and could careless what color he gets, but he has to tell me what his outfit is going to be. He is particular about his dress which, cracks me up.
Jake is getting ready for Kindergarten. Actually it is mom that is "getting ready", Jake already is. I am going to do it. I know I can. And I know Jake definatly is excited. He is almost reading and he is a math wiz. We started teaching the kids math in Pre-school and Jake loves numbers. At Kindergarten screening he counted to 65. He knows how to count by 10's and is doing good. I am proud of him but will miss him next year. He started soccer today and the weather was junk, of course. But we are looking forward to watching play this summer.

Here is a glimpse of Easter. We went to California to escape the weather. But it actually wasn't good weather there either. But we had fun. We dyed Easter eggs and took the boys to the L.A. Zoo. Papa told Silver tooth stories, and Gram was a great host. It was nice to get away for a couple of days. Dying Easter Eggs was fun But...the Raven's ate the eggs. Crazy!!! The boys didn't seem to mind that they only found 6 or seven eggs. They had fun. I love watching them have a good time and enjoy their happiness. It is amazing how simple they are. I love that. They were happy just to ride bikes around the block with mom and dad while we were there. I am happy that they enjoy being with Travis and I. I know those days won't last forever.
