Hunting...in the Fall. For as long as I can remember the excitement of killing an animal was in the air come fall. I remember Wes hopping off the top bunk in the trailer to go get mom and dad up to see if it was time to go yet, 4 or 5 times before they said okay let's go. Now, my boys like to do the same thing. It was a Sunday and Luke stayed home with mom this year. He told me that he was going to wear Jake's tie and that everyone wouldn't recognize him, "they'll think I am a visitor mom." I wish I would of had the camera to take a picture of Luke...But I have the cute memory.
Jake,Cole, Dad and papa had fun in the mountains. I told the boys about catching horny toads when I was a little girl. My brothers and I loved to do that. I was so excited to see that they found one on this hunting trip. Cute little thing.
I enjoy hunting with my family it has always been a fun family vacation. Wes and T have lots of stories to share, "kill the mule," makes Travis laugh so hard that he wants to cry. I just get a kick out of hearing them tell the stories.
Family traditions are fun to have. I am so thankful that my parents worked so hard to give us neat memories to look back on.

I had never shot a gun, never seen an antelope or tried eating any wild game till I married into your family...Hunting is just the way of life....and the stories they tell are priceless!!!

Thanks for taking care of my kids - they loved it! I can't wait to have you out in July - the boys want to plan a party for the twins. Do you have the exact dates yet?
